The Word of God (Isaiah 40:6–8)

Isaiah 40:6–8 sets the fading flower beside the word of our God, which shall stand for ever. That contrast feels close to home: so much we depend on can change, yet the LORD’s word remains sure. This song gives us a quiet moment to hold onto what lasts and let the rest fall into its proper place.
