This Is The Rest (Isaiah 28:11–12)

Isaiah 28:11–12 brings a gentle word to the weary: “This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing.” I love how simple and tender that promise is. This song offers a quiet moment to pause, listen, and receive the rest God gives.

Lyrics

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; this is the refreshing.
