What Have They Seen (Isaiah 39:3–5)

Isaiah 39:3–5 records Isaiah asking Hezekiah, “What have they seen in thine house?” It is a question that makes me think about what we reveal, what we treasure, and whether our choices point people toward the LORD. The song lets that moment sit without rushing to an easy answer, inviting a little honest reflection before God.

Lyrics

Then said he, What have they seen in thine house? All that is in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them. Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord of hosts: What have they seen in thine house?
